Interpretation and Definitions

The following definitions apply throughout these Terms:

• Application or Service means the ScriptAI software application (for iOS and iPadOS), including its Share Extension.
• Application Store means the Apple App Store, operated by Apple Inc.
• Country refers to: France.
• Device means any device that can access the Service, such as an iPhone or iPad.
• In-app Purchase refers to a purchase of a Subscription made through the Application, subject to these Terms and to Apple's own App Store terms.
• Subscription refers to paid access to certain features of the Service, offered on a recurring basis.
• We, Us, the developer refers to Louis-Auguste Bacot, the individual developer of ScriptAI.
• You means the individual using the Service.

Acknowledgment

These Terms of Use govern your use of ScriptAI and form the agreement between you and the developer. By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

You represent that you are over the age of 16, or the age of digital consent in your country of residence, whichever is higher. If you are under this age, please do not use the Service.

Your use of the Service is also conditioned on your acceptance of the Privacy Policy set out in Part 2 of this document, which explains what data (if any) is collected, and how the on-device and optional cloud AI features work.

Description of the Service

ScriptAI helps you record, transcribe, and turn audio into structured scripts, notes, or summaries. Transcription runs on-device by default. You may optionally enable cloud-based transcription or cloud-based AI text features, described in the Privacy Policy below, for improved accuracy or additional capabilities. These cloud features are optional and, where applicable, can be turned off in Settings.

Subscriptions

Subscription period

Certain features of the Service require a paid Subscription, billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly or annually) via In-app Purchase. At the end of each period, your Subscription automatically renews under the same conditions unless you cancel it, or unless the developer discontinues it.
